INFORMATION FOR DISTRIBUTORS & RETAILERS

ISS Research^®, LLC announced today that it is initiating a precautionary, voluntary recall of the identified lots of OhYeah!^® bars in response to the widened recall involving ALL peanut products produced by Peanut Corporation of America (PCA)’s Blakely facility since 2007. The previous recall issued by the FDA focused on peanut butter and peanut paste from Peanut Corporation of America (PCA), which did not affect OhYeah!^® bars. Although independent laboratory testing has indicated no Salmonella contamination to date in any of the OhYeah!^® bars, including the lot #s listed below, we are taking this step as a precautionary measure to ensure the utmost safety of our products.

Salmonella is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis. These products were sold in grocery, health food, nutrition, smoothie and online stores, as well as in gyms.

No other ISS Research^® or OhYeah!^® flavors, brands, or products are included in this recall. The actions we are taking today are in keeping with our commitment to provide consumers with safe, high-quality products.

Though at this time we have confidence in the quality control of our product, it is only prudent that we notify our customers and consumers of this expanded recall from PCA, and request the products be removed from the marketplace and destroyed.

ISS Research^® requests that all distributors and retailers check the lot numbers listed below. Other lot numbers of OhYeah!^® products are not affected. Please read and complete the following forms in their entirety before discarding any product.

IDENTIFYING RECALLED PRODUCT BY UPC AND BEST BY DATE

1. The UPC is the “bar code” located on the bottom of each OhYeah!^® box. Match the number under the “bar code” to the display box (tray) UPC listed below. If you find a match, continue to Step 2.

2. The “Best By” date is stamped on the side of the box. If the “Best By” date is from March 11, 2008 through March 27, 2010, continue to Step 3. In the example below, BEST BY 02 15 10 is February 15, 2010.

3. If BOTH the UPC and "Best By" date matches, please do not sell these bars and refer to handling instruction below for either Distributors or Retailers.

Distributors

Please immediately discontinue supplying these lot numbers to retailers, and discard all affected inventory in your possession, by double bagging and tying off the product in dark industrial type garbage bags.

To apply for replacement product, please cut out the UPC code and Best By/Lot # from each display box prior to discarding.

Please use the Product Destruction Log Form to report the amount of inventory on hand and confirm that it has been discarded or otherwise destroyed. It is urgent that you immediately notify your retail customers to this recall and instruct them to properly discard all affected lot numbers in their inventory. Please have them complete the Product Destruction Log Form along with the cut out UPC and Best By/Lot # for each display box and return it to you.

Retailers

Please immediately remove products from retail shelves and storage, and discard all affected inventory in your possession, by double bagging and tying off the product in dark industrial type garbage bags.

To apply for replacement product, please cut out the UPC code and Best By/Lot # from each display box prior to discarding.

Please use the Product Destruction Log Form to report the amount of inventory on hand and confirm that it has been properly discarded. Please return the completed Product Destruction Log Form along with the cut out UPC and Best By/Lot # from each display box to your appropriate distributor.

To obtain replacement product, a completed Product Destruction Log Form must be returned to your appropriate distributor along with the cut out UPC and Best By/Lot # for each display box.

All claims for replacement product must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2009.

Upon receipt of your certified Product Destruction Log Form(s) and associated UPC and “Best By” date information, ISS Research^® will provide replacement information for these products as soon as possible.
